Small Town Grown to Small Town Raising
Hello, I’m Bekah a.k.a. Mrs. Steele, a young educator that is very passionate about teaching young students. As a small town girl of Nebraska, I wound up in Nevada living my same small town life. I am married to my husband, Tony, and we have 3 children that we love raising in our small town.
Growing up, I lived in a county of approximately 700 people. My family ranches and farms in western Nebraska. I was raised on our family ranch where I learned what hard-work, commitment, and responsibility truly meant. Fast-forward to now, I am living in a small town of approximately 1,000 people. Currently, I am a secretary for our small, rural elementary school. My husband and I also ranch, farm, and contract rodeos.
We live a fast-paced, crazy life of rodeo and ranching. My husband and children all compete in rodeo. I also chase my children with all of their other enjoyed activities such as football, basketball, baseball, dance, and so much more.
In addition, I am a high school girls basketball coach. I enjoy interacting with students and athletes in their journey's through high school. I am currently striving to become a secondary science teacher. My ultimate goal is to teach students not only within the classroom, but also outside of the classroom. Living in a small town, I have the opportunity to see and encourage young people to be their very best every day.
"A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops."
